Birthdays
In first grade, we do not celebrate birthdays with treats. Instead, each child will be celebrated in a special way in his/her classroom and receive a book from PTCO. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate it in May or on their half-birthday.
**An important word about party invitations**
Our wish is to protect the feelings of ALL students, so we ask that you NOT send or distribute party invitations at school. Classmates’ addresses will be available in the Homestead Buzz Book; our school’s address book. Watch for a PTCO permission form that will allow you to add your address to and purchase a Buzz Book.
