Hi, I am Tobi Dattilo. This will be my 8th year teaching First Grade at Homestead Elementary and my 24th year of teaching elementary school.  Teaching reading is a passion for me, and I love working with first graders! My belief is that teaching and learning should always be joyful. I earned my master's in education from the University of California at Santa Barbara.  I am married to a wonderful man, Pete, and we have three children, Alex, Shannon, and Sydney.  Alex recently graduated from CU Boulder and is now living in NYC where he works as an investment banker.  Shannon will be a Senior at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and plans to pursue a master's in accounting.  Sydney is starting her freshman year at Indiana University where she is studying economics.  When we aren't visiting our children, we love spending time outdoors paddle boarding, hiking, skiing and traveling.  We have a sweet dog named Cali.

Hi, I am Inger Moore. This is my 29th year teaching. I taught (and opened) for 20 years at Wildcat Mountain Elementary in Douglas County School District. This will be my 9th year teaching at Homestead. I was lucky enough to be hired right out of college from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). I grew up in Iowa, yet moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado when I graduated from high school and received my AA from Colorado Mountain College. However, I was not granted in-state residency, and moved back to Iowa to finish my BA in Art and Art History as well as my K-12th grade Art Education Endorsement from the U of I. While attending Iowa, I earned a scholarship from Rowing. I also received my Master’s in Education with a K-6th grade Education Endorsement from Regis University.

I love education, but I love children of all ages more! I love to teach and to learn. I also love being a part of higher education. For 11 years, I taught at Regis University as an Affiliate Facility for graduate-level Art Methods and Literacy in Education classes.

My husband Jack (III) and I have 2 sons and a sweet yellow lab named Isla. Our oldest son, Jack (IV),  graduated from Rock Canyon High School in 2025 and will be pursuing his second year playing Junior Hockey. Our younger son, John, is a senior at Rock Canyon High School. John also plays competitive ice hockey in Monument, Colorado.  We could not be prouder and more excited for each of them. We all love to travel, the outdoors, to fish, and watching our sons do anything that they love to do.

Hi, I'm Shannon Palumbo.  I have been teaching since 2002 and have been a first-grade teacher at Homestead since 2013.  I received my BA from Michigan State and my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.  I am married to a hockey-crazed man, Pete, and we have two wonderful children together.  Both of our children share my husband's love of hockey and play(ed) on competitive teams.  My son, Anthony, will be a junior at CSU and studying Business and Innovation.  My daughter, Josie, will be a sophomore at St. John Fisher in Rochester, New York, where she plays ice hockey and studies Business Administration.  We also have three furballs that complete our family: our cats, Gwen and Ginger, and our dog Stanley.
