Volunteers
Each day we are so thankful for the amazing support that our parent volunteers provide for our classrooms. Many of the things we do would not be possible if it were not for our amazing volunteers.
Volunteers are used in many different ways in First Grade...
Small Group
We look forward to inviting parents in to work with students Monday thru Thursday for small group lessons. This can include anything from a science lesson, an art project or a book discussion. Sign-ups will be sent by your teacher.
Material Prep
We are also grateful to parents for their support of our program through preparing and organizing materials. Classroom teachers also use volunteers to help get projects ready, sharpen pencils, and do other tasks that can be done at home and sent in. Please contact your teacher if you are interested in helping from home.
First Grade Events
Over the course of the year, we will have several large first-grade events where volunteers are a must! Our Grade Level Coordinators will schedule volunteers throughout the year for our first-grade events. These special events will also be announced in our weekly newsletters.

Friday our volunteers help us stuff Friday folders and get ready for future projects.
